Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez said their vows during a lavish, three-day celebration in Venice. Their ceremony took place on the breathtaking island of San Giorgio Maggiore, which the couple hired exclusively for the occasion. Naturally, the guest list was a who’s who of global powerhouses, with icons like Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates reportedly in attendance.

Lauren Sánchez stole the show in a couture gown adorned with 180 silk chiffon–covered priest buttons, a dress fit for a royal wedding. Yet perhaps the most jaw-dropping detail of all was the wedding cake which was crafted by the legendary Parisian pastry mastermind Cédric Grolet. Rumour has it the cake might be the most expensive wedding cake ever created – we can only imagine!

Becca Bloom and David Pownall

TikTok sensation Rebecca Ma – known online as Becca Bloom – married software engineer David Pownall in a wedding that looked straight out of a modern fairytale. Set against the dreamy backdrop of Lake Como, their summer celebration gave undeniable Crazy Rich Asians energy, combining whimsical romance with jaw-dropping luxury.

The ceremony featured spectacular towering floral installations, a mirrored aisle reflecting the shimmering lake views and spectacular bursts of colourful smoke cannons that transformed the setting into something almost cinematic. Even the rain, because, of course, Lake Como loves a dramatic moment couldn’t dull the magic. If anything, it added to the atmosphere, making for photos so beautiful they’ll likely serve as huge wedding inspo for years to come.

Georgia Toffolo and James Watt

From lavish floral arrangements to supermarket daffodils, Georgia Toffolo’s wedding plans and comments caused quite the stir. If any celebrity wedding 2025 gave us a wedding with personality, it was this one! Georgia Toffolo’s big day sparked headlines, memes and admiration in equal measure. The reality star kept things spontaneous, reportedly telling guests to join only “if you can get here within 48 hours.” From there, the chaos and the charm began.

On her way to the ceremony, she allegedly grabbed supermarket daffodils to use as flowers, and her cake was rumoured to be a last-minute DIY creation. The photos the couple shared were wonderfully unconventional: the groom wearing fishing waders and Georgia posing in a cream, off-the-shoulder fleece while clutching freshly caught lobsters. The result? A celebration that felt refreshingly authentic, quirky and full of personality. But we absolutely adore this playful take on a very traditional day.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco said “I do” in a beautifully intimate California ceremony this September. The couple both wore custom Ralph Lauren ensembles, blending timeless elegance with effortless modern romance. Their guest list was, unsurprisingly full of music icons with Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran reportedly giving speeches during their celebration. 

And if the speeches weren’t iconic enough, the ring bearer was none other than Martin Short. Yes, that Martin Short. The blend of classic style, star-studded storytelling, and celebrity sparkle made their wedding truly unforgettable.

Dani Dyer and Jarrod Bowen

In May, Dani Dyer and footballer Jarrod Bowen tied the knot at the stunning Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire. Their celebration oozed elegance, intimacy and was a true family affair. One of the most touching details? Dani’s father, Danny Dyer, walking her proudly down the aisle. Their children served as flower girls and page boy and the photos are absolutely stunning! 

The dreamy white Hydrangeas and roses helped created a hugely romantic vibe and the dreamy outdoor scenery gave the event an almost Bridgerton-esque charm – we are obsessed! This absolutely picturesque wedding is one we will remember for a long time.

Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer

Kristen Stewart and screenwriter Dylan Meyer opted for something entirely different and entirely them. The couple married over Easter weekend in an ultra-private celebration that unfolded partly at their Los Angeles home and partly at their favourite Mexican restaurant. The vibe? Relaxed, heartfelt, and effortlessly cool.

The wedding looks were some of the trendiest of the year: a sheer silk mini dress paired with a chic tweed set. No veils, no bouquets, and no bridesmaids just authenticity, comfort, and style. It’s the kind of wedding that proves simplicity can be just as striking as extravagance. This wedding could not have suited them as a couple more! 

 
Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes

From one California celebration to another! Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes embraced full glamour, wearing not one but three spectacular outfits throughout their Santa Barbara wedding weekend. Demi stunned in two custom Vivienne Westwood gowns before changing into a tailored Lapointe suit that turned heads.

Their wedding included a rehearsal dinner, a romantic ceremony, and arguably the highlight being a special live performance by The Goo Goo Dolls. The couple’s first dance was choreographed and performed live by the band, making the moment unforgettable.

 
Kim Cattrall and Russell Thomas

The Sex and the City star married her longtime partner in an intimate ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall. Just 12 guests attended the beautifully private celebration. The bride stunned in a classic Dior suit perfectly suited to the venue, while her new husband looked dapper in a custom Richard James design.

Reflecting on their relationship, Sarah once said, “We’ve been together almost 10 years now, and we’ve had a blast.” The couple first met in 2016 when she appeared on BBC Radio 4 and they clearly never looked back. A heart-warming love story to end a year of fabulous weddings!

Sophie and Rhys

And we had to save a special mention for one of our very own! This year, Sophie from our team married her now-husband Rhys at the enchanting Lapstone Barn in the Cotswolds. Their countryside celebration was the epitome of fairytale romance, complete with breathtaking florals, twinkling fairy lights and subtle touches of Disney magic woven throughout.

After getting engaged on April Fools’ Day we are so happy to see the pair start their happily ever after! Surrounded by close family and friends this was a true love story come to life and we can’t wait to see more countryside fairytale weddings like this!

Their announcement felt like one of those moments when the whole world collectively gasped and then melted a little. They’ve always had that calm, grounded, quietly obsessed-with-each-other energy, and seeing them take this next step just felt so right. No dramatic reveal, no big performance, just two people who adore each other choosing to make it official in the sweetest, most natural way. It set the tone for the entire year, and honestly, the glow these two give off is incredible. We cannot wait for this wedding.

Jake Paul & Jutta Leerdam

Jake proposed to Olympic medalist Jutta Leerdam, apparently spending £1 million on the ring! These two have been such a surprising but genuinely lovely pairing, and their news felt like one of those “oh wow, good for them” moments that instantly brightens your scroll. Jutta has brought out this softer, more grounded side of him, and you can really see how happy they make each other. The announcement itself wasn’t wild or dramatic, just confident and full of that loved-up energy they’ve shown from day one. It added a fun little spark to March and definitely kept the 2025 engagement streak feeling strong.

Melanie Hamrick & Mick Jagger

To keep us all on our toes, Melanie Hamrick finally confirmed her engagement to Mick Jagger. Not exactly new, but news that had been under wraps for years. Melanie told Paris Match that they’ve been engaged for two or three years, and honestly, we love how she said that while marriage may not be on the cards, they are perfectly happy as they are. A lovely reminder that love doesn’t have to follow a timeline!

Simu Liu & Allison Hsu

Simu Liu and Allison Hsu announced their engagement on the 11th of May, it was just such a gorgeous little moment. These two always give off the loveliest energy, fun, supportive, and a bit silly in the best way. So when the news dropped, it felt so natural, like of course they’re taking this next step. Nothing over the top, nothing staged within an inch of its life, just a really genuine “this is us, and we’re happy” kind of announcement. It added such a sweet vibe to May and slotted perfectly into this wave of feel-good, heart-melting celebrity love stories we’ve had this year.

Dua lipa & callum turner

In June, the fashion industry started to predict the wedding look for Dua Lipa, after announcing her engagement to Callum Turner on the 12th of June. From the early days, they had that look of two people who genuinely enjoy each other’s company, not just the events and the cameras. So when the engagement news dropped, it didn’t feel like a big celebrity “announcement” at all. It felt like watching two people who have found the right rhythm together choosing to keep building on something that already works. It’s sweet, grounded, and honestly one of the loveliest relationship progressions we’ve seen this year.

JASON SEGAL & Kayla Radomski

Jason Segel getting engaged honestly feels like one of those surprisingly lovely celebrity moments you don’t see coming. He proposed to Kayla Radomski back in the summer. They’ve only been together a couple of years, but there’s something about them that feels really settled, like they actually make each other’s lives calmer rather than louder. And yes, while we’ll always love him as the lovable, awkwardly charming Marshall from How I Met Your Mother, it’s honestly wonderful to see him finding that same kind of devotion in real life. It’s one of those celeb stories that makes you smile because it feels like an actual relationship, not a headline.

Victoria Pedretti and Ethan DeLorenzo announced their engagement on the 21st of July, and honestly, it felt like such a quietly perfect moment. They’ve been together for a few years now, first sparking up when they met through mutual friends in the acting world, and fans have loved watching their relationship grow from low-key appearances and sweet social media hints into this next big step.

Tyrese Haliburton & Jade Jones

Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones have one of those really sweet, all-American love stories that just make you smile. They first met back at Iowa State University when he was a rising basketball star, and she was the cheerleader lighting up the sidelines, and they’ve been inseparable since 2019. Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez sent fans around the world into a frenzy, back on August 11th. And can we talk about that ring for a second? Sparkly, dramatic, and totally Ronaldo-like, it basically has its own fan club. As for the wedding? Well, if their past events are anything to go by, we expect something ultra glamorous, whilst remaining intimate, maybe a stunning European villa, all-white florals, possibly a Ferrari, because let’s face it, you can’t do Ronaldo without a touch of speed and luxury. Georgina has always had impeccable taste, and Cristiano knows how to pull off the dramatic and romantic in equal measure, so whatever they choose will be elegant, star-studded, and absolutely jaw-dropping. Honestly, we can’t wait to see what they do.

And then of course, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on August 26th! This stopped everything, it had everyone pausing mid-scroll, celebrating and grinning like a Cheshire cat! After months of Swiftie speculation, seeing them take the next step felt so right. And can we talk about that engagement shoot? Perfectly Taylor and Travis, romantic, full of personality, and giving us all the heart eyes.

It’s moments like these that remind us why celebrity engagements never get old, each one bringing its own kind of magic.

Liam hemsworth & Gabriella brooks

Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks announced their engagement on September 11th. They first got together after his split from Miley Cyrus, and ever since, they’ve kept things beautifully low-key, quietly building this calm, steady relationship that just works. Fans couldn’t help but smile at the idea that the Hunger Games love triangle has finally found its peaceful, real-life ending, and it seems like these two are more than ready for their next chapter. Rumour has it they’re planning an Australia wedding, relaxed, sun-soaked, and surrounded by the people who’ve watched their love story grow away from the spotlight. We can’t wait!

How adorable was Camila Mendes’ engagement to Rudy Mancuso? Honestly, it was one of those moments that just made everyone collectively melt. They’ve got this really natural, grounded chemistry, and seeing them take that next step felt so genuinely them. Their engagement announcement on October 25th had that cosy, soft energy that made you want to replay the video twice, and fans absolutely loved how romantic and personal it all felt. After meeting while filming Música and going from colleagues to this incredibly sweet partnership, it’s been so lovely watching them evolve.

Formula One fans, brace yourselves! Charles Leclerc and Alexandra Saint Mleux announced their engagement on Instagram. They were first spotted together back in 2023. Fans saw them together during F1 weekends, and although they kept things low-key, it was clear pretty quickly that they were really well matched. Alexandra is an art history student, often seen travelling with him or cheering him on from the paddock without ever making it about herself. Their engagement in November 2025 felt lovely. Nothing overly flashy, no big performance, just a sweet, sincere moment between two people who are very obviously in their own little world together. It’s the kind of relationship that feels genuinely grounded, even with all the noise of the F1 lifestyle surrounding them.

Getting to the end of 2025, one of the latest additions to the list, Friday Night Dinner star Tom Rosenthal and Gabrielle Sky, shared their news on November 9th, with the cutest photobooth snaps. Gabrielle looked fab, showing off a gorgeous ring, and the photos are the kind of sweet, low-key moment that makes your heart melt. They also welcomed their first child a few months ago, so this feels like a perfect next chapter.

Ok, pause for a second, because the surprise of this month goes to Miley Cyrus. She and musician Maxx Morando have reportedly just gotten engaged after four years together. We love that this doesn’t feel like a dramatic headline grab, but all very grown-up.

While headlines are buzzing about the size of the ring and which celebrities have commented, I’m more interested in what this means for our world. The world of weddings. Because make no mistake, this marriage will shape trends like no other.

We need no introductions to this couple. Taylor Swift, popstar icon, and Travis Kelce, American footballer and podcaster (which Taylor has appeared on!) have been dating dince 2023 – so quite recently really. They first met when Taylor performed at the stadium where Travis plays. Why is everyone talking about this wedding so much? Because she isn’t just a singer, she is a cultural phenomenon, and her fan base (swifties!) is huge. So anyone who would ever date her is of course also going to be thrown straight not the limelight, whether they were or weren’t previously.

So how will Taylor Swift’s engagement shape the industry? And what does this mean for weddings? Together, they’ve become one of the most talked-about celebrity couples in the world. And now, as they head towards marriage, their wedding is set to be the cultural moment of the decade.

Global Trendsetting

Taylor Swift’s engagement will (hopefully) lead to a wedding, and whatever they decide to do, this day will shape trends across the globe. I, as a wedding planning and being in the industry for 15 years, really hope that their wedding includes things we haven’t seen at, or don’t usually see at, weddings, which will then become new trends. There are so many big trends at the moment – brides in black dresses, frilly cakes with a cherry on top, champagne towers – and now it’s time to mix it up! And I feel this wedding will do exactly that.

Taylor Swift’s Dress!

This dress will be the dress of not just the year. It will be talked about for years, and will really set trends for how brides dress in future weddings. We will see a surge of brides wanting a similar style and fabric. Bridal boutiques everywhere will be chomping at the bit to stock a similar style wedding. It may even bring seamstresses to the forefront who make dresses from design, instead of off the rail, while the industry catches up. Whoever designs this dress is probably already, or will become, a household name.

Venue And Location Influences

Whether they choose to stay in America, or opt for a European wedding, this day will put whatever location they choose on the map. This will set the trend on whether people stay home for their wedding (if they choose America) or opt for a destination wedding (if they go elsewhere). It will also set the trend for the style of venue they choose, as well as time of year. (Oh guys, let’s see a stunning winter wedding!) It will also be interesting to see whterht they stick with a one day, American structured, celebration, or if they have a multi-day celebration, and what those days will include. Perhaps beach parties, extravagant brunches, or a laid-back party the night prior – all of these will shape the style of future weddings

Setting The Tone For Future Generations

Not only will this wedding impact the couples who will be planning their weddings or getting engaged around the time that they get married, but it will also set the tone for the future of weddings. Taylor Swift’s supporters is a diverse age range, but her largest fanbase are Gen Z, who are 13-28. Whatever Taylor Swift does for her wedding will stick with this generation and will be in the forefront of their minds for when they get married in years to come. This wedding could really shape the future. So come on Taylor, let’s see a big extravagant wedding please! No small, intimate wedding that you keep private! There is a lot of talk over recent years of, why would you spend so much money on a wedding? And don’t get me wrong, a lot of couples see past the money. But I hope that this turns this negative perception of weddings around for future generations.

The Swiftie Effect

Swifties are known for celebrating every Easter egg, lyric, and outfit change. Don’t be surprised if we start seeing couples nod to Taylor and Travis’s wedding in subtle ways, whether it’s “Eras” inspired colour palettes, cocktails named after favourite songs, or vow lines lifted from lyrics. Pop culture will blend into weddings in creative new ways.

Entertainment

I mean, let’s face it, whatever they plan entertainment wise, from the songs they use, to the performances they have, it’s going to shift trends massively. If Taylor Swift’s engagement leads to her curating her own wedding music (and let’s be honest, she will), this will really change playlists, first dance choices and aisle walk songs across the globe. I would LOVE to see her write and record her own first dance song, and have it played for the first ever time on their wedding day, to be released post wedding, which will definitely be the top first dance song for the next few years. Us wedding industry folk will be sick of it we will hear it that much.

My Hopes For Their Wedding As A Wedding Planner

I hope that they go big, they go extravagant, they go personal. Show people that a wedding isn’t just a waste of money, it’s one of the biggest and most important occasions of your life. I also really hope that they don’t use suppliers, designers, planners, venues which are already household names. Let’s bring some new faces into the world of celeb weddings and give other hard working wedding suppliers an opportunity to showcase something new. I want to see new trends, new ideas. A day really showing the two of their personalities, like recording your own first dance. I mean, how cool would an American football stadium as a venue be…ceremony on the pitch anyone?!

Whatever comes from this wedding, and whatever and whenever it may be…it’s going to be big!

Anant & Radhika

Let’s start with the sensational Ambani wedding! It has been quoted as the “wedding of the year” and you can guarantee we enjoyed every element. 

When it comes to grandeur, the Ambanis never disappoint! Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding was a real experience, blending tradition and extravagance. Held over several days at the Ambani family’s Mumbai residence, Antilia, the celebrations featured breathtaking floral installations, live performances, and rituals steeped in Indian culture.

Radhika looked radiant in a red Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga, adorned with intricate embroidery and jewels, while Anant wore a cream sherwani embellished with gold. Highlights? A stunning Baraat procession, fireworks, live dhol players,  topped with a star-studded guest list, and a reception dinner featuring an exclusive menu by Michelin-starred chefs.

Vicky & Ercan 

My Big Fat Geordie wedding indeed! Vicky Pattison and Ercan Ramadan tied the knot in a very chic ceremony at  London’s Marylebone town hall known for its classic intimate setting for the legal part of their marriage before flying to the Amalfi Coast for their main ceremony at Castello Monaci, nothing short of a Mediterranean dream! Vicky went for more than one dress for her wedding day. Suzanne Neville and The Wedding Club worked to ensure she looked stunning in every single part of the celebration!

Millie & Jake

Another Bride in gorgeous dresses in Italy, Millie Bobby Brown married Jake Bongiovi at the stunning Villa Cetinale. Millie wore four dresses across the occasion, for the wedding ceremony, she wore a custom Galia Lahav gown, working with designers to create her customisations. Later changing into a vintage-style Valentino dress for their couples photos, an Oscar de la Renta short dress for the reception and another Oscar de la Renta full gown to cut the cake! Millie’s four-dress approach not only showed her love for fashion but also ensured each element of the day had it’s own unique vibe.  

The flowers, oh wow! A huge white flower arch was absolutely stunning and they also had one of our favourite bands, Sensation Band, performing for their guests!

Rebel & Ramona

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma married on the Italian island of Sardinia, a truly romantic spot where they had holidayed before. They organised the wedding in 3 months and an important part of the wedding for Rebel was obviously the music, flying in a 20-piece band led and produced by Alessandro De Angelis

Rebel and Ramona stunned in a duet of Pronovias dresses in a Mikado fabric, classic elegance, styled individually. Rebels corseted princess gown looked stunning next to Ramona’s A-line silhouette, matching perfectly. 

Josh & Jordan

“In a *light* blizzard” Josh Radnor and Dr Jordan Jacobs married at the Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, in upstate New York, in a heartwarming moment, outdoors, during a major snowstorm! 

Guests and suppliers had to stay the night as they were unable to travel due to the snow and ice! 

Guests received welcome bags on arrival, including incense sticks, an incense dish, CBD tincture and an ‘intention kit’ with paper a pen and a note reading “‘We find that setting an intention can be a helpful way to drop in and calibrate your internal compass to true north”

Lana Del Ray & Jeremy

The Lovely Lana announced her romance with Jeremy Dufrene, jut one month before they wed in an intimate ‘relaxed, family-focused’ ceremony by the water in Louisiana, where Jeremy operates his popular swamp boat tours and where they first met. 

We haven’t seen any official photos other than those released here, and no information about the dress, sad face!

Zoe & Danny 

Influencer and sister to Molly-Mae, Zoe Hague married her military fiance Danny Rae at the gorgeous Inn on the Lake at Ullswater, in the Lake District National Park. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, with the British weather on their side, with the clouds parting and blue skies and majestic mountains – Hannah’s idea of a perfect backdrop! 

The night before the wedding, the wedding party enjoyed a scenic lake cruise aboard the Ullswater steamer to start the celebrations. For the wedding itself, Zoe wore a fitted strapless dress from The White Closet, florals from the talented Amelia Rose Florals featured a white floral arch, flower meadows for the ceremony and stunning hand bouquets for the bridal party. Following the ever-popular trend of an outfit change, Zoe’s second dress was a beautiful shorter-style ivory dress and Danny changed into a different suit, after a shower first!

Adele & Rich

Adele has been keeping us on our toes, she has been dropping cryptic hints about her wedding to Rich Paul. If you try to find out information about Adele’s wedding online, you won’t find it! She keeps teasing us all, referring to Rich as her husband and responding to Alan Carr’s asking his audience if anyone has got married recently with an “I did” but she did confirm in August they are not married, yet! So 2025, Adele,  we want to see your wedding!

Hannah & Martyn

Okay, not necessarily celebrity weddings, but one I couldn’t miss out on! Our Hannah Rose married her very own Mr Right, Martyn. Hannah and Martyn met through a friend on a night out, and as she says “The rest is history”! 

The wedding celebrations started with the legal bit taking place in the registry office, afterwards, Hannah swapped her pink wedding shoes for her climbing boots, and they along with 2 photographers, a videographer and 2 friends climbed Snowdon to read their vows to one another! 

Hannah and Martyn continued to celebrate their wedding with Friends and Family a couple of weeks later at home in Northamptonshire, with an outdoor ceremony, in true British style the rain only started 1 minute before the end of the ceremony! They celebrated the rest of the day with a gorgeous BBQ station from Portfolio Events and amazing live music throughout their drinks reception and the Josie Soden band for the reception. SPENCER HOUSE

The Great Room, Spencer House

Spencer House, a Georgian masterpiece in London’s St. James’s, just exudes timeless elegance, hosting weddings within so much history. It is renowned for hosting celebrity weddings and is a stunning choice. With exclusive use, couples can choose from versatile spaces, including the iconic Great Room, famed for its grandeur. The house accommodates intimate ceremonies of 40 in Lady Spencer’s room or up to 110 for a ceremony in the Great Room, with a reception up to 450 guests. This is a great choice for sophisticated and memorable weddings. Chloe Delevigne, older sister to Poppy and Cara Delevigne, married Ed Grant at Spencer House in a very simple and low-key celebration back in 2014.

THE SAVOY

Lancaster Ballroom, The Savoy

Since opening its doors in 1889, The Savoy has been a top venue hosting the most elegant parties and glamorous events. Whether lavish or intimate, The Savoy’s can cater for pretty much anything! ‘Hope’ The Whale, The Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum is a very unique wedding venue in London that is highly sought-after for its stunning Victorian architecture and world-renowned collections of natural specimens. Offering a range of event spaces suitable for weddings, including the impressive Hintze Hall accommodating up to 450 guests for a reception and the Earth Hall which provides a unique and dramatic setting for a wedding ceremony, plus a multitude of of other spaces suitable for your celebrations.

The Natural History Museum definitely encapsulates the meaning ‘memorable experience’, offering the opportunity to dine and dance beneath the iconic Hope, the blue whale skeleton in Hintze Hall. This 25-meter-long specimen provides a that dramatic, awe-inspiring backdrop, which will 100% leave a lasting impression on your guests. Additionally, the venue can provide a variety of tours throughout your day, giving you and your guests the chance to explore the fascinating world of natural history. The photo opportunities at this venue are absolutely fantastic the Museum’s Victorian architecture provides such a unique setting. Much loved Ollie and Gareth Locke married on the well-known steps of Hintze Hall, under Hope the Whale, back in 2020, with just 13 guests due to Covid restrictions.

RSA House

The Great Room, RSA House

RSA House is a stunningly beautiful West End Georgian townhouse. It has that wow factor and holds so much history. Spread across 3 levels you can make an impact on your guests. The Great Room surrounds you with a beautiful mural and a glass-domed ceiling and is the largest of the three rooms available, holding ceremonies with up to 140 guests. The Benjamin Franklin Room has a capacity of up to 100 people, with oversized windows allowing all the natural light, and original Adam fireplaces. And then the underground vaults, very different but what a vibe! You can have your wedding ceremony in the underground Vaults with up to 80 guests, or take them down for an evening reception. The Vaults feature beautiful exposed brickwork and have the capacity for 220 people for an evening reception. 

The Queens House Greenwich

The Tulip Staircase, The Queen’s House, Greenwich

The Queen’s House is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Greenwich, this former Royal Palace is perfectly elegant and a beautiful venue for weddings. The Great Hall provides space for up to 120 people during the daytime and 150 evening guests and offers spectacular views over the Thames and the Canary Wharf skyline. The Orangery, for something a bit more intimate with a ceremony of 50, the room features original paintings, offering gorgeous backdrops for photos. The South Lawn also offers the option for ceremonies and receptions for bigger scale options, where you can hire a marquee and be within the grounds. 

In addition to this, you also have the South Parlours which have stunning views over Greenwich Park and access the garden terrace. With telescope viewings and dancing under the undercroft, Queens House Greenwich is plentiful with options of space for you to entertain your guests. 

Oh and who can forget the Tulip staircase? Stunning! So many spots for beautiful photos across this venue, no matter the weather or the season.

116 Pall Mall

The Balcony, 116 Pall Mall

What a spectacular choice. 116 Pall Mall is a Grade-I listed building situated right in the heart of London. It has been a location for several iconic films and TV dramas, The Dark Knight, Downton Abbey and Foyle’s War, to name a few. There is so much on offer when it comes to this wedding venue, with a seated capacity of up to 80-250 seated or 1000 standing! 116 Pall Mall offer exclusive use of the whole venue, or individual room hire for your wedding day, with rooms split across 3 floors. 

With the staircase and balcony, and the chandelier.. (chef’s kiss), your photographer will be in their element capturing outrageously stunning images of your day, it is truly breath taking. The Waterloo room, featuring Georgian architecture and floor-to-ceiling windows, and The Director’s room – the largest available, both overlook the iconic Pall Mall itself. Then end your day with an evening reception in the Champagne Bar, vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork.

Kew Gardens

Nash Conservatory, Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens begin by offering small intimate ceremonies in the Cambridge cottage, which can seat up to 80 and 120 in the evening or go on to offer grander celebrations in the Nash Observatory,  a 19th-century glass house, seating up to 200 for a ceremony features floor-to-ceiling glass windows on 3 sides. You and your guests can experience the stunning backdrops of the gardens and invite your guests to join you for a secluded drinks reception on the lawns and dine in the Temperate House, a Victorian conservatory surrounded by 10,000 species of plants! This was the venue choice for Fearne Cotton and her husband Jesse Wood.

Jamie & Sophie 

Let’s start with Hanahh’s absolute favourite celebrity couple; former Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Haboo, having only announced their engagement at the end of 2022, just before Christmas. 

They kept us updated on all things weddings and wedding mistakes in their ‘Nearlyweds’ podcast! Jamie and Sophie legally wed in a Chelsea registry office in April, Sophie wearing a short Vivienne Westwood wedding dress and then packed all their friends and family off to Marbella for one of the weddings of the year. No expenses spared and a jam-packed celebrity guest list! 

Sophie wore a gorgeous long-sleeved lace dress, designed by Emma Beaumont and Jamie was suited in a double-breasted wedding suit and matching shades!  The occasion was an elaborate affair, and we are still obsessed with the stunning details, ahem, the flowers.

Georgia & Tommy 

Just this month TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet ended the year “happy, in love and together as husband and wife” in a ceremony at Islington Town Hall, with a further celebration in Spain planned – which we are very excited to see and are following them like a hawk for any details! 

Georgia wore a stunning mini dress with a long train and puff sleeves designed by Khirzad Femme, Prada Shoes and carried a simple bouquet of Red roses from Reine Des Fleurs. Whilst Tommy sported a black suit with matching white trainers from himself and their Son Brody – cute, cute cute!

Olly & Amelia

Back in July, Olly Murs and Amelia Tank married in the Blackwater Estuary in Essex during a 3-day celebration! With guests arriving at the venue on Friday night for a barbecue, the ceremony followed on Saturday and wow what a dress! Amelia’s dress by Pallas Couture in Australia had a corset bodice, detachable lace sleeve and covered head to toe in beaded appliques. She also wore a floor-length veil embroidered with “Olly and Amelia” and their wedding date! 

The Saturday celebrations ended at midnight, so guests could prepare and recuperate for “Murs Fest” on Sunday! Funfair rides, a McNugget truck and stage performances from Olly, Craig David and DJ Pandora Christie! Outfit details on Sunday though, Amelia wore a Dissh mini dress and chunky black boots, with a Sophie Webster “Wifey for Lifey” Bag and a bespoke hand-painted “Just Married” All Saints leather jacket. Olly has recently announced on Instagram that Baby Murs is due in 2024, congratulations guys!

Sofia & Elliot

Sofia Richie, Lionel Richie’s daughter, & Elliot Grange exchanged vows at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, back in April, with a star-studded guest list. Following their engagement in April 2022 in Hawaii, Sofia referred to wedding planning as “a full-time job”! We know Sofia, we know! 

Sofia had her dream trio of dresses designed in Paris by Chanel; a rehearsal dinner dress, which took place on Friday night; the ceremony; and one for the after party. Elliot wore a Tom Ford tuxedo for the wedding day and the bridesmaids were all in black, choosing their own dresses – so on trend for 2023!

Sofia and Elliot wed in a traditional Jewish ceremony, having a private legal ceremony with just their parents in the States before flying to France. The ceremony was followed by cocktails, dinner and speeches with Nicole Richie, Sofia’s sister, as MC for the night and father Lionel Richie performing! And then to an after-party, with nightclub-inspired vibes, dancing until 3 am!

Mikayla & Cody

Boston-based Beauty influencer, TikToker Mikayla Nogueira married Cody Hawken in July this year at Castle Hill in Rhode Island, with a guest list including celebrities and TikTokers! “Classic, clean and elegant” they went for a black-and-white aesthetic.

Mikayla wore a Martina Liana ballgown-style dress, with floral accents. Exchanging vows, in a non-traditional ceremony, customised entirely to themselves. They celebrated their nuptials over a multi-day celebration, kicking off with a welcome breakfast and ending with a Fourth of July after-party!

Sia & Dan

May saw Australian singer Sia marry Dan Bernad at the home of Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana, in Portofino, Italy. Also the wedding venue choice of Kourtney Kardashian-Baker and Travis Baker a year prior in May 2022 (Chloe’s celebrity wedding favourite of 2022). Dolce and Gabbana’s home is just a surreal venue. 

Being notorious for being a private person, Sia and Dan exchanged vows under an iron gazebo, adorned with pastel flowers in front of just 4 guests. Sia wore a blush pink mermaid-style gown, with a high neckline, cropped sleeve and pearl buttons.

Lady Amelia and Greg

Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Amelia Spencer, wed long-time partner Greg Mallet in a ceremony at Quoin Rock Manor House, South Africa earlier in March. After their engagement in Franschhoek in July 2020, Lady Amelia, who has previously worked as a wedding planner in the past, worked with Anne Mann to create her perfect wedding day!

With Amelia being a model and Brand ambassador, fashion was a high priority for the day, with both Amelia and Greg wearing Versace. The wedding dress was created from custom silk rebrodé lace, with a 2-and-a-half metre train, adorned with Swarovski crystals and intricate flower patterns. Paired with a 5 metre-long veil made from fine silk tulle and Jimmy Choos shoes – the dream wedding shoes!

An afternoon ceremony on the Saturday, followed by sunset cocktail hour and dinner seated in a bespoke glass marquee, filled with twinkling lights and white roses, dubbed “a magical fairy garden”. Amelia changed into a beaded gown by Provonias and the evening continued with a surprise outdoor party on the elevated lawn, partying through to 3am!

So many celebrity weddings we have loved this year and so many to look forward to next year! Celebrity engagement announcements that have us hooked; Demi Lovato, Matty from GBBO, Molly-Mae & Tommy Fury, Perrie Sian, Channing Tatum, Zooey Deschanel, Nicole Sherzinger, Rebel Wilson, Ella Henderson, Millie Bobby Brown, Chef Ben from Below Deck and how is Thomas Brodie-Sangster old enough to get married?!

Over 18 months later, the couple are now MARRIED! And having listened to every single episode (yup that’s right!) and scouring their Instagram’s, plus many cast members who attended the big day, I had to write up my thoughts on the wedding, and also point out some bits were mentioned along their podcast journey, which may or may not have made it to the day.

the dress

Of course, it had to be mentioned first, made by the incredible talents of Emma Beaumont, who even admitted in a latest episode of Nearlyweds that Sophie didn’t quite do as many trials as usual (I imagine Sophie’s diary is pretty full to the brim so maybe that’s why!) but still looked incredible. I had an idea that Sophie would go for a fit and flare style, but was surprised by the lace. I thought she would opt for a sleek, plain white number, very contemporary. I was also surprised by the sleeves due to the wedding being in Spain and I’m sure, very warm! But loved them all the same! Absolutely LOVED the addition of the cathedral veil – it really made the outfit. You can see in photos and videos that Sophie then changed later in the evening, but professional photos and designer haven’t yet been released.

The canned cocktails debacle

I think all the listeners of the podcasts highly enjoyed what we thought was Jamie winding Sophie up about having canned cocktails at the wedding. But maybe he wasn’t as they did make an appearance and the night prior celebrations, supplied by MOTH Drinks. Jamie actually also reveals that he invested in the company for the wedding, and Sophie did admit that they were amazing and that after a conversation with the owners (who she loved) on a zoom she didn’t really want to attend, that she agreed to have them within some part of the celebrations.

The couple talked at length about having a STEN party – a combined hen and stag party. But this didn’t happen in the end which was revealed on the podcast, and spent their bachelor and bachelorette parties separately in Paris and Val D’Isere. Sophie also had a London hen party, attended by Olivia Bentley and Verity Bowditch.

officiant

You have most likely seen in the press, social media or on one of Jamie’s many podcasts, the ‘Spencer and Jamie fallout’, after Spencer was under the impression he was officiant at the wedding, but was actually the MC. Jamie did mention that Spencer was officiant on the podcast. He also asked his brother to be usher on the podcast, but that also didn’t transpire. Perhaps Jamie has a case of, asking and forgetting, like many brides do actually!! I often hear tales from my bride’s where they have drunkenly asked a friend to be bridesmaid, hoping they will forget the next day. Role reversal? We have seen the actually officiant in the videos and photos, but still unsure as to who they were and if they were a friend or family member, or a celebrant they hired.

catering

We meet the incredible caterer – Chef Tom Kerridge, who is based in Buckinghamshire on the podcast, where Jamie asked if Tom would cater their wedding. I did think this was strange as this is a big task catering in Spain when you are based in the UK, but it was also something that didn’t transpire, as on the day, their wedding was catered by GOYO Catering. But we would highly recommend Tom as a UK caterer!

accommodation – palm rock retreats

Jamie and Sophie stayed for a week prior to the wedding celebrations and also had their day 2 at Palm Rock Retreats, which actually offers wellness retreats, including healthy eating plans and personal training sessions. The owner was present on one of the final episodes of the nearlyweds podcast and did comment that they most likely wouldn’t host a wedding party again. We can’t imagine having saxophonists on the roof, as they did on the day 2, really fits with the vibe of a wellness retreat after all, but hopefully it helped to get their name out there for anyone looking for that kind of trip.

Day 2

This was debated for quite a few episodes due to cost, and I think if they went with the original venue they picked, which they decided to change due to being such a high cost, they maybe wouldn’t have had one. But the couple did comment that they felt bad for people travelling so far for it to be over in one day. They even put it to the viewers, who had mixed views, some saying people will want to do what they want to do, others saying to go for it. In the end, by looking at many stories on Instagram, there was a Day 2, which was hosted at Palm Rock Retreats, with entertainment from their wedding day band, including trumpeters and saxophonists. It looked a very informal affair, with the guests dressed down, and all there just to enjoy themselves. I also spotted a post from Jamie with many drinks in his hand at around 10pm, so I think it was still a late one!

personalised guest poems

This actually came from the ‘favours’ part of the podcast, when each week, Jamie and Sophie would read out an idea or a business in the wedding industry, which was really beneficial to so many wedding suppliers and a really lovely thing to do to help these businesses, one being Pinky Studio who create personalised poems for each of your guests. Sophie said how much she loved this and how she wanted to do this for their wedding. And it did transpire, which Is aw on some beautiful photos of the place settings from a few of the attendees, who then sat down to a lovely poem written for them.

It was talking about there being around 300 guests on the a few episodes of the podcasts, especially when Sophie was talking about how anxious she was for such a big event, and how Jamie just kept inviting more and more people. There was also a lot of drama about the invites, as they went out quite late and quite a few invitations didn’t make it to the guests. Looking at photos, and also mentioned in later episodes, it seems there were around 150 – 200 guests, so potentially a smaller affair than originally planned, which I am sure Sophie was happy about!

There were definitely some well known faces there, especially if you are an MIC fan, including recently married Ollie Locke, Ollie Proudlock, Emily Blackwell, Olivia Bentley, Ruby Adler and Melissa Tatum, who is Sophie’s podcast host on Wednesday’s We Drink Wine. Spencer Matthews, Jamie’s podcast 6 degrees co-host and best friend, was MC. Sam Thompson and his girlfriend Zara McDermott were also there and looking stunning, followed by a brilliant Instagram post from Sam, showing a clip from the old school (best) MIC days. Sam actually dated Sophie way back when, so when Jamie took Sophie on a date shortly after the split, they fell out, Sam exclaiming, “I wish you had gone and married the girl so at least it was for something”, followed by a clip of Sophie and Jamie then actually getting married, and Sam in the audience, emotional with happiness for them….LOVE!

Jamie hinted many times that he wanted to walk down the aisle, with music which was…er….controversial to say the least! From videos, it seems that it was just Sophie who made an entrance, on her dad’s arm, to the sounds of a string quartet, and without the Jurassic Park theme tune!

Music

It was discussed how important music is for the wedding day, and something I also emphasise to couples too. Jamie and Sophie walked into the song ‘September’ performed by their band for the wedding breakfast. You can see the guests dancing along, cheering, waving their napkins in the air (which I am sure was encouraged by MC Spencer Matthews!) which really just makes you feel amazing as a couple! If you don’t have music, there also ends up being a moment of silence when everyone takes their seats which isn’t great, so would highly recommend any couple to choose music, especially upbeat music, during this entrance. The evening entertainment was wedding party band ALR Music, based in London
