Ashmolean Museum – Oxford
Imagine saying “I do” surrounded by art, history, and a vibrant sense of culture. The Ashmolean Museum, situated in the heart of Oxford and part of the prestigious university, offers a unique setting for couples looking for something truly memorable. Recently, the estate has also unveiled a charming barn wedding venue – a delightful alternative that can accommodate smaller gatherings. And with an impressive number of on-site bedrooms, you’re all set to host a celebration that truly feels like a fairytale.

St Pancreas Renaissance Hotel – Central London

10-11 CHT – Central London

This venue’s stunning historic building features various delightful event spaces across buildings 10 and 11, and you have the choice to hire one, or both! The option to hire both spaces exclusively means you can create a seamless flow throughout your day, whether you’re looking for a cosy ceremony or an elegant cocktail reception. While this venue doesn’t offer on-site accommodation, its prime central location means your guests will have no trouble finding a variety of charming hotels and guesthouses nearby.

Kelmarsh Hall – Northamptonshire
Kelmarsh Hall is one of those British wedding venues that immediately transports you to a bygone era. This exclusive country house in Northamptonshire is steeped in history and offers a uniquely intimate atmosphere for your wedding day. Kelmarsh Hall is flexible in the suppliers you use, so as well as having a house exclusive to you, their flexibility enables you to bring your personality to your day. One of my favourite features is the beautifully appointed getting ready area – a perfect, serene space to prepare for the day’s festivities. Although there isn’t on-site accommodation, the surrounding area is dotted with lovely B&Bs, hotels, and even a local lodge, ensuring your guests have comfortable places to stay. Portfolio Events is there inhouse, award winning caterer, who will really wow your guests with their menu options on the day.

Knowsley Estate – Merseyside
For a blend of grandeur and classic British style, Knowsley Estate is an excellent wedding venue option. Located just outside Liverpool, this private hotel is the epitome of period charm. With a beautiful, stately staircase and an exclusive atmosphere, Knowsley Estate offers a setting that is both elegant and intimate. Cambridgeshire provides an array of grand venues which are perfect for outdoor weddings, from historic manor houses and country estates with grounds for structure of your choice, to quaint gardens and rustic barns, each offering it’s own unique charm and character.

One of the joys of having an outdoor wedding is being able to embrace the British seasons. In spring, blooming flowers and fresh greenery create a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and reception. Summer, brings warmer days, perfect for late outdoor evenings, accompanied by a fire pit, whilst autumn offers a gorgeous palate of rich colours. We have a few options for you to look at a for venues who offer outdoor weddings in Cambridgeshire. Of course, don’t forget to always plan your wet weather option!

Histon Manor, Impington

A privately owned Estate, located in Impington and set within 11 acres of grounds and only 3 miles from Cambridge, Histon Manor offers dry hire for outdoor wedding receptions for up to 250 guests. A fully exclusive venue and surrounded by trees, it offers a tranquil and private escape from the city. The venue has lawns in front of the house, and an additional piece of land private from the house, to host your reception under a marquee or structure of your choice. You also have use of the formal gardens for your drinks reception and photos. There is space for a large elaborate wedding or a smaller gathering.

Currently, there is no license to host a ceremony at Histon Manor, however, there is a church in the village and the location of Histon Manor means that it is close to the city centre which offers a variety of options for your legal ceremony. You could also opt for a personal celebrant ceremony, which needs no license.

Histon Manor recommends various marquee suppliers and caterers for you to use on their grounds. They also recommend using a wedding planner, or at least a wedding day co-ordinator.

For accommodation, there are various places and airBNBs in the local vicinity and you could also venture back into Cambridge as it is only a 15 minute drive. The perfect venue for an outdoor wedding in Cambridgeshire and one of our favourites!

Waresley Park Estate, Waresley

Another privately owned estate, nestled in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside, it is conveniently located surrounded by picturesque villages and an easy distance from the historic city of Cambridge. With over 120 acres of beautiful parklands, the house and grounds are a beautiful oasis offering impressive outdoor landscapes for your outdoor wedding ceremony and reception, including formal gardens, enchanting woodlands and stunning parklands. As well as being able to offer legal ceremonies within the grounds there are churches for religious ceremonies of all denominations, including the picturesque St James the Great church, situated in the nearby village of Waresley.

The park has a flexible approach to weddings and offers options for larger celebrations with lots of intimate tranquil corners, perfect for smaller more intimate gatherings. Waresley Park Estate offers weddings from May through to the end of September. 

The main house sleeps 22 people, for you and a selection of your guests. There is even a swimming pool and hot for you to enjoy the hiring for the full weekend! As the venue is located close by to Cambridge centre, there are many options for accommodation for the remainder of your guests, which they won’t need to travel far to.

The venue even offers full weekend hire if you really want to make the most of your celebrations and host an event the night prior or the day after the wedding!

Rectory Farm, Cambridge

Just over 2 miles from the city of Cambridge, Rectory Farm is a perfect idyllic spot for an English countryside wedding. Beautiful English gardens, bordered with hollyhocks, honeysuckle and lavender, with Weeping Willows border the Rectory Farm Marquee. There is the option to host your legal ceremony in the traditionally styled ‘Folly’ with Norfolk Reed thatch from local reed beds and Eucalyptus timbers from South Africa. Sunny days allow guests to be seated on the lawn while the Pavilion ensures cover from wind and rain in the event of a summer shower. Alternatively, the House is licensed for smaller groups of approximately 50 guests. 

The lawn and gardens provide an enchanting setting for weddings. The lawn and garden make a wonderful setting for reception drinks and garden games. As the daylight disappears into the evening, the garden lights up for the evening reception with tiny lights, the perfect backdrop to add your own personal touches.

Meadow Garden, Ely

Set within private 4 acres, the secret meadow garden offers a truly beautiful setting for your outdoor wedding day in Cambridgeshire, surrounded by a hedgerow, wild roses, tall grasses and trees, and home to a wildlife pond. The meadow is home to a Celeste Pole Marquee, with panoramic sides, giving stunning views across the gardens all the way down to the weeping willow tree. This means your structure is already included within the venue hire, so you don’t need to worry about hiring one! Toilet hire is also included, so another thing less to worry about.

The Meadow Garden offers a wooden gazebo and Moon Gate, which gives a stunning backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. The venue is full licensed for a legal, civil ceremony.

The venue is only a mile from Ely, so there are plenty of accommodation options for you and your guests locally.

Island Hall, Godmanchester

A lovingly restored 18th century Georgian mansion, surrounded by 3 acres of serene and secluded gardens, the old river waters curl through and around the gardens, adjourned with towering trees, home to a variety of wildlife; swans, herons, owls and blue flashed kingfishers. Island Hall can accommodate civil ceremonies as well as exclusive venue hire for receptions.

Island Hall offers the use of a beautiful island, surrounded by the River Great Ouse, which is most definitely unique! You can access the island using a Chinese style bridge. There are options for small intimate wedding breakfasts in the house for up to 48 guests or a larger reception in the marquee on the Island for up to 220 guests.

You can use one of their prefered caterers – either Portfolio Events or CDC Events who both know the venue well.

The orangery at Kensington palace

First up is The Orangery at Kensington Palace, an elegant venue set within the beautiful gardens of the palace. The Orangery was originally built in 1704 for Queen Anne and has since been used for various events, including weddings. The venue offers a stunning backdrop for your big day, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gardens and a beautiful terrace for outdoor ceremonies. The Orangery can accommodate up to 150 guests for a ceremony and 300 guests for a reception, making it ideal for both intimate and larger weddings. In terms of accommodation, there isn’t any onsite, but there are plenty of hotels nearby, including The Kensington Hotel and The Milestone Hotel.

One of the unique features of Kensington Palace is the opportunity to have a private tour of the palace’s State Apartments. This allows you and your guests to explore the lavish living spaces of royalty, including the magnificent King’s State Apartments and the Queen’s State Apartments. You can also take a stroll through the stunning Sunken Garden, which was redesigned in 2017 to mark the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s passing.

As for celebrity sightings, The Orangery has played host to a number of high-profile events, and of course is within the grounds of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s most recent home, along with Princess Eugenie and her husband. So, if you’re looking for a venue fit for a royal celebration, The Orangery is definitely worth considering.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

Next on our list is The Ivy Chelsea Garden, one of our favourite wedding venues, which is also a restaurant, in Kensington and Chelsea. The restaurant and bar have become famous for their botanical décor, with an elegant dining room and a beautiful outdoor garden space. The venue offers a number of different spaces for weddings, including The Glasshouse, which can accommodate up to 26 guests for a ceremony and 40 guests for a reception, perfect for smaller celebrations.

As for accommodation, The Ivy Chelsea Garden doesn’t have any onsite options, but there are plenty of hotels nearby, including The Draycott Hotel and The Sloane Square Hotel. In terms of celebrity sightings, The Ivy Chelsea Garden is frequently visited by many well-known names, such as Michael Cain, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Spencer Matthews.

The royal chelsea hospital

If you’re looking for a venue with a rich history, The Royal Hospital Chelsea is definitely worth considering. The venue was founded by King Charles II in 1682 as a home for army veterans and has since become a popular location for weddings and events. The venue offers a number of different spaces for weddings, including The Great Hall, which can accommodate up to 250 guests for dinner and 350 guests for a reception, Wren House which can accommodate up to 50 for ceremonies and 40 for dinner, and The Figure Court which is available for up to 400 people for a reception from 6pm.

You can also have your wedding ceremony at The Wren Chapel, which can accommodate up to 320 guests, although there are a few requirements that you need to match to be able to have your ceremony in the chapel, such as one of you, your grandparents or your parents must have been christened, married or confirmed here.

In terms of accommodation, The Royal Hospital Chelsea doesn’t have any onsite options, but there are plenty of hotels nearby, including The Draycott Hotel and The Sloane Square Hotel. As for celebrity sightings, The Royal Hospital Chelsea has been visited by many household names, including David Beckham, who attended the launch of the annual Poppy Appeal in 2020.

Chelsea old town hall

Adding to our list of esteemed wedding venues in Kensington and Chelsea, we couldn’t forget the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall. This stunning Grade II listed building is situated in the heart of Chelsea and is renowned for its elegant Victorian architecture and rich history. The venue offers a range of beautiful event spaces suitable for weddings, including the elegant Main Hall and the intimate Small Hall, each exuding its own unique charm.

Chelsea Old Town Hall can accommodate varying wedding party sizes, with the Main Hall accommodating up to 340 guests for a ceremony and 180 guests for a reception, while the Small Hall accommodates up to 140 guests for a ceremony and 80 guests for a reception. There are also smaller spaces available for your ceremony, especially if you are looking for a legal ceremony only, before your celebrations elsewhere, which are part of the register office, for example, The Rossetti Room, which accommodate 12 guests for a ceremony. The venue boasts exquisite period features, including a magnificent grand staircase, stained glass windows, and ornate ceilings, creating a romantic and sophisticated ambiance for your special day.

One of the advantages of Chelsea Old Town Hall is its convenient location, surrounded by vibrant boutiques, fashionable restaurants, and picturesque streets, providing an array of options for stunning wedding photographs and a vibrant atmosphere for your guests to enjoy. Furthermore, the venue offers flexibility in terms of catering options, allowing you to customize your wedding menu according to your preferences and dietary requirements.

Chelsea Old Town Hall has also hosted its fair share of celebrity weddings. It has been the chosen venue for notable figures such as Pierce Brosnan Judy Garland, and of course, most recently, Jamie and Sophie Laing. The Dorchester Penthouse and Pavilion London Wedding Venue

All the Sleeping Beauty vibes in this space as the room was actually designed by theatrical stage designer, Oliver Messel, and designed the room on the enchanting story. Perfect for intimate groups of up to 34 guests, or dine al fresco on the balcony with an even smaller gathering of 10. The space is tranquil and breath taking, minimal effort and décor required as the room is so beautiful and the views over London just say it all! One of my favourite spaces in London with a view for a London rooftop wedding.

Shangra-La at The Shard, London 

Maybe one of the more obvious choices, but one of the most fantastic views over London for a London rooftop wedding. Shangra-La offers the full wedding package, with licensed spaces for a civil ceremony, accommodating 110 guests for your wedding breakfast and evening reception and even accommodation, so you can fall in bed at the end of the party without your friends and family having to taxi across London.

The venue boasts opulence, with gold features around the room and a grand contemporary staircase for photos. You don’t really need to wow your guests much more as the wedding venue view will do that for you…

The Yacht London Weddings

A permanently moored, 1927 steam yacht, now transformed into a luxury London wedding venue on the River Thames. The yacht is even licensed for civil ceremonies, and welcomes guests year-round, offering spaces under cover and on the deck.

The venue holds up to 100 guests seated and 175 standing, perfect if you would like your full celebrations in one place or if you are just looking for a London reception venue. Full catering is on offer, so you don’t have to worry about finding your own. But most of all, it ticks the box for incredible London views – situated on the North Bank of the Thames, between Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars, so easy to access but also offering the most unspoilt views of London, whilst being on the Thames – what more could you ask for?!

Yes, there is The Yacht London, which is a moored London wedding venue, but there is also the option of a moving yacht which you can hire for your full day celebrations, or for your evening party. Madison, London Wedding Venue

Rooftop terrace in the centre of London, with incredible views of St Paul’s Cathedral. Think chilled in the day, with a DJ playing background music, whilst you sip on champagne, and throw in the Ibiza vibes in the evening with the addition of a saxophonist, while all your guests party into the night New York style, which is where the inspiration for this venue comes from.

But it’s the UK? Do we really want to be outside? With the addition of umbrellas and heaters already installed and the option of inside space with incredible panoramic views, you are set to go year-round. This London venue can be hired exclusively for up to 750 people! Now that’s a party!

Glass Box at Aviary

Literally what is says on the tin, a glass box, overlooking the whole of London. Incredible scenes, without the worry of getting wet with the UK weather! Set within the luxurious hotel, The Montcalm Royal House Hotel London, on the 10th floor, you could even have part of your day within the hotel and the evening celebrations within the glass box!

There are various spaces available, offering a capacity of 300 standing, with the capacity within the glass box being 60. With views directly over the skyline, your guests will be impressed!

Searcy’s at The Gherkin, London

Yup, it’s not just all offices at the Gherkin in London! Situated on level 39 and 40 is Searcy’s at the Gherkin, offering full wedding day celebrations or receptions, with a civil ceremony license and space to accommodate up o 140 seated and 260 for a reception. They even have a license until 3am if you can party that long!

And through that iconic triangular architecture, offers you the most stunning views across London, even whilst you are at the top of the aisle and saying your vows – don’t get distracted!

Sky Garden

With views of the Gherkin, Sky Garden offers a more relaxed vibe, a venue which is actually used a public park by day believe it or not! Offering views of London at 155 metres high above the city and space for up to 700 guests! Being a garden by day, the venue offers greenery and landscaped gardens designed by landscape architect Gillespies – yes that’s right – a real garden inside a building 155 metres high!

Based in the iconic Walkie Talkie Building on Fenchurch Street, the venue is known for having one of the best views of London giving you the ultimate London rooftop wedding!

Tower Bridge

The iconic Tower Bridge in the heart of London, can you get any more London vibes?! The venue payment actually goes towards a charity, Bridge House Estates, which goes to charitable causes across London – how great is that?!

The venue is licensed for ceremonies, so you can actually get married on the bridge, and wine and dine, plus wow, your guests with the backdrop of London.

Sushi Samba at London Heron Tower

I absolutely love the vibes of this place! Very cool, very informal, and with the most incredible views over London from floor 38 and 39 of the Heron Tower, with the iconic Sushi Samba tree sitting in the centre of the venue. A venue with a difference which will wow your guests, oh and of course, you can’t forget the sushi bar and robata grill! Seating up to 160 and 470 for standing across the two floors, there is plenty of space, and you can even add Samba dancers!

Catering is available within the venue and is a mix of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian food – something different which will wow your guests!

Today, we have, home of the first EVER afternoon tea (who doesn’t love an afternoon tea?!), the luxury Langham hotel in London. I visited recently – Why? I always check out any venue we recommend to our couples before I shortlist, to make sure that I know exactly what the venue is like, what they offer and to start to build a relationship with the venue, so that when I suggest the venue, it’s right for you and an easier process.

As you know if you are a follower of mine, I absolutely love London, just being in London makes me happy! It has so much to offer! And this venue is smack bang in the middle of the West End, again, if you know me, you will know this is one of my favourite spots. With views across London, including the London eye, it is the perfect location!

The Beautiful History of The Langham

Known from the very beginning for it’s one-of-a-kind indulgences, the hotel first opened in 1865 and has had many purposes over the years, including during word war 2, when it was bombed, then used by the BBC broadcasting house, which is based opposite.

What kind of indulgences are we talking here? Well yes, as mentioned, they are home of the first afternoon tea (erm…yum!) but we are talking electric lighting, air con, hydraulic lifts….may seem like basics in the hospitality world now, but back then, these were luxuries, and guess what – The Langham had them!

They have kept up this reputation over the years, keeping at the forefront of the luxury hotel world, with famous Michelin star chefs, wining and dining some of the most important people in the UK (more to be revealed later!)

Perfect Wedding Venue Spaces

Back in 2018, the hotel had a £35 million refurbishment, keeping the hotel fresh and modern but still in keeping with their original style and brand.

The beauty of this venue is that not only do you have the astonishing Grand Ballroom, but you also have smaller event spaces, suited to your guest numbers and style, also perfect for pre wedding dinners or post wedding brunches.

Seating up to 220 guests for your ceremony or sit down meal, the Grade II listed Grand Ballroom just oozes grandeur, from the Murano glass chandeliers (which are hand blown!) to the original crystal embellished curtains, the high ceilings, and the neo class pillars. If you are looking for your guests to be wowed, they most certainly will be in this space! What I also love about this particular ballroom, is as well as having natural daylight (we will get on to that in a moment!) the colour palette is neutral, as well as the carpet. Many ballrooms can feature deep colours and garish carpets, which can be difficult to match with your décor.

So the natural daylight we mentioned – the Langham also boasts something which is very rare for a London wedding venue – an outdoor Garden Courtyard which can you can hire as an extension to the Ballroom – perfect for drinks receptions and evening garden celebrations. It is such a beautiful space, in keeping with the theme of being outdoors, with plants and greenery, and even festoon lighting. Modern, contemporary, something different and you even get to breathe in that London air!

For smaller celebrations, there are other spaces available, accommodating up to 44 guests, including the radiant room, The Postillion, which overlooks All Souls Church and has a spectacular wine cabinet as part of the décor! There are also the carriage rooms, named after horse drawn carriage, owned by wealthy Victorians in London, which can accommodate between 8 and 44 guests, and have their own characteristics.

Looking for something different? Well they have it! The conservatory holds up to 26 guests and definitely brings the feel of the outdoors in, with rustic wooden furniture, greenery and plants, showing their commitments to sustainability and positive changes for the environment.

The hotel also boosts a very cool space – Wigmore, their very own British tavern, which is perfect for more relaxed pre wedding parties or for evening celebrations and couples who want a relaxed feel to their day – I LOVE this space! It’s so different, and just shows that the venue offers not only different spaces to accommodate different guest numbers but also to accommodate couples with different preferences.

The Delicious Langham Dining

If you are foodies and looking to wow your guests with how incredible the menu is, then you will love that your wedding courses will be designed by celebrity chef Michel Roux Jr, offering French inspired, Michelin star food to you and your guests. Michel Roux Jr was actually onsite when I visited! From smoked duck to venison, buttered Dover Sole to lobster, crème caramel to apple tartin, you can expect a fine dining menu for your day, along with flights of wine to compliment the food.

What Makes The Langham Special

Bringing their playful side, the iconic signature shade of pink is seen across the resort, from the famous pink car that sits out front, the ice cream van, even the phones, menus and teacups within the hotel. Not to forget their home fragrance and commissioned Hunter wellington boots, oh and of course their delicious soufflé….

The pink not only keeps them memorable for their brand, but has a special and important representation – health, positivity, celebration and love. You can see this across their social media with the #InThePink campaign. Isn’t that just perfect for your London wedding venue?! A venue that truly cares about these important factors for your welfare and marriage. For me, this makes the venue really special. It might just look like a bit of fun and an eye-catching marketing campaign, but it has meaning.

Who Has Visited The Langham

If you are looking to feel lie royalty for the day, well then the service must be good enough as royalty themselves have visited The Langham, including Princess Diana herself. Charles Dickens, Liza Minnelli and Oscar Wilde have also been visitors of The Langham. The hotel even aired on Channel 4’s Most Luxurious Hotel recently. Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Daniel Brühl and Uma Thurman also visited back in 2015 for the filming of movie ‘Burnt’, as well as Piers Brosnan when filming James Bond movie ‘Goldeneye’.

Exclusive Use UK Wedding Venues

All three venues offer a touch of luxury in the Surrey/Hampshire/Buckinghamshire areas of the UK, great if you are looking to travel out to the countryside to escape the hustle and bustle of London. All three properties are 24 hour exclusive use Wedding venues, meaning it will just be you there on the day! No worries of bumping into another bride, or having your guests end up at the wrong party! Having an exclusive venue makes it feel like your own luxury home from home for the day! You will have full use of each property from 11am on the day to 11am the following day – meaning you don’t have to worry about the clean up until the next morning!

Botley’s Mansion Wedding Venue

One of our favourite venues, located in Surrey – a popular location for me! This iconic, elegant, building dates back to the 1700’s and is a grade II listed building, which was bought and restored by Bijou in 2010, making it the popular, modern, luxury wedding venue it is today. You may have caught the recent Netflix series ‘The Duchess’ which filmed at a scene of a Wedding at the mansion!

Several different spaces are offered for your ceremony and celebrations, nut the main space being the The Atrium, within the Grand Palladium mansion. The space was originally a Courtyard, with the glass roof being added by Bijou to make this wonderful space, perfect for any grand wedding celebration. My favourite part of this space, is that you have the grand, sweeping staircase at the tip of the room – just the PERFECT entrance for any Bride for the ceremony! The advantage of the glass roof – you can party with your guests under the stars!

They also offer a late license if you wanted to carry the party on – there is definitely no fear of disturbing neighbours here, being surrounded by 56 acres of parkland. You can even have fireworks, many venues are unable to offer this due to neighbours of livestock and can even hire a helicopter – the Groom generally loves this, bring flown to the ceremony by helicopter!

Holding between 50 – 500 guests, depending on which space you choose, there is plenty of room to hold an extravagant reception and really enjoy the day with all of your family and friends. What is also great, is as the property is exclusive, you can make the most of the different spaces, for example if you wanted a chill out area, or if you do decide to have children to the day, a children’s space where you can hire a professional to look after them while their parents can let their hair down. There is even 12 ensuite bedrooms available for you to crash after the party!

My big pros: It has to be the staircase within the Atrium! Plus the shots you can get in front of the iconic house – when you know, you know!

Notley Abbey UK

Located in Buckinghamshire, this venue just screams history! The site dates back to the 1100’s (wow!) and has since had many owners, (including the Earl of Buckingham!) was destroyed by a bomb raid in world war 2, and was then purchased by Laurence Olivier to make it the building it is today, before it was then bought by Mark and Jo Cutmore-Scott who own it today under the Bijou umbrella.

The venue allows ceremony both indoors and out, allowing you the mansion style ceremony or a garden gathering. With a capacity of up to 172 for the day and 250 for an informal evening reception, the Monks Refectory is a stone barn, with features giving you a medieval feel to your day.

For an outdoor ceremony and celebrations, these will be held in the beautiful walled garden, which again, contains so much history. The walls which make up the Walled Garden are part of the original ruins when the original building was destroyed, and now give you a border for an elegant day.

The original main room in the house, The Abbot’s Hall, is also a beautiful space, with original beams and oak floors, holding up to 100 guests. There are so many photo opportunities at this property, your photos with the house as a backdrop being a big highlight – we suggest spending majority of your photo time here!

My big pros: The history! I just love a building which has so many stories to tell! Makes your day even more interesting to your guests.

Cain Manor Weddings

One of the collections most popular wedding venues, a barn style manor house set on the border of Surrey and Hampshire, featuring rustic character, period detailing and wooden beams, perfect if you are looking for a more rural, country feel. This property shows how different the venues are within the Bijou collection, which is great that there is something for everyone! From the classic elegant Botley’s Mansion, to the countryside style barn, it really depends on what you are looking for!

Holding up to 123 for a ceremony indoors and for daytime guests, then up to 170 guests with an evening reception. You also have the option to hold your ceremony outside within their country grounds and courtyard gardens, with the signing of the register taking place under a pergola, which also makes the perfect frame for those post ceremony photos, giving you the perfect country garden ceremony.

The venue also features an intimate Library room, which works really well for your drinks reception and you could even continue to use this space as a quieter area for anyone who wants to take a moment away from the music.

My big pros: The views from the gardens are incredible, overlooking Surrey’s Golden Valley. It is so peaceful.
