Mana and
Peter

Kelmarsh Hall

Peter and Mana had their stunning winter, blush pink and navy, wedding day back in January 2022 at the historic Kelmarsh Hall, set in the countryside county of Northamptonshire. I worked alongside this wonderful couple with just 7 weeks to go from the day I started planning, to their wedding date.ย

With just the church booked, there was plenty to work on, and with Christmas looming, getting hold of wedding suppliers isnโ€™t always the easiest, especially when we needed invitations printed ASAP and a venue to find so we had an address!

With Manaโ€™s dresses already being made back in her home village in Thailand, she knew she wanted to mix the dark blue but also with a hint of pink. Mana had also picked out some items she had seen on my Instagram, such as gold cutlery and glassware. I put together a mood board to show my ideas, which we perfected, and then bought in the help of florist, Hayley at Bloomfields and tableware from Duchess and Butler to bring the mood board to life!As a post covid wedding, the couple wanted to bring the element of โ€˜sharingโ€™ into their wedding, so opted for a menu guests could share together โ€“ something we hadnโ€™t been able to do for so long! The menu consisted of grazing platters to start, meats with potatoes and vegetables for main and a trio of desserts. A stunning eight tier cake with real gold leaf and iced cherry blossom flowers was created by Nina at Erzulie Cakes.

M&Pโ€™s wedding was a fusion wedding, with one half of the couple being Christian and one being Buddhist. With the wedding ceremony already booked at a local church, we made a big request, to have 5 monks present at the Church of England, to then perform a short Buddhist service to celebrant both religions, which was granted by the vicar.
